Markin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Media from Kean University, where he developed a deeper understanding of storytelling, media production, and audience engagement. Complementing his academic studies with training in audio engineering and business management, he has approached the entertainment industry with the mindset of both a creator and an entrepreneur.

Today, he is further expanding that foundation by pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Global Business Management. For Markin, graduate education is not about becoming more creative. A Family Legacy: The Chief of Atobasi

A defining milestone for the Markin family is unfolding alongside his own professional journey.

After nearly five decades away from Ghana, Markin's father, Phanuel Kweku Anyamanku Markin, is scheduled to be formally installed as the Chief of Atobasi. The installation represents the fulfillment of a responsibility first presented to him decades earlier.

In 1988, the opportunity to assume the traditional chieftaincy was offered to him through his royal lineage. After thoughtful discussions with both his parents — including his mother, who served as Queen Mother, and his father, who also descended from royal heritage — he chose not to accept the position at that time. Personal circumstances and competing responsibilities led him to postpone the role, allowing him to continue building his life abroad.

Now, as he enters retirement, he has accepted the responsibility and will undergo the traditional installation and enstoolment ceremony, marking a significant cultural milestone for both the family and the Atobasi community.

As his career evolves, MM400's ambitions now extend well beyond the recording studio. He envisions a future that encompasses filmmaking, media production, business leadership, and global creative development.
